#Ey!Studio AiR is designed to provide the ideal environment for artistic creation in direct contact with the artistic context of the city of Madrid based on coexistence and community. The residencies are for individual artists with a minimum stay of one month, although three months is recommended for the proper development of the project, the maximum stay is for a period of 6 months. The #Ey!Studio AiR programme is run by artists/curators and is aimed at artists who don’t live in Madrid, Spain. The space is located in Carabanchel, a booming cultural district where there are currently a total of 300 artists working in approximately 60 studios, as well as art galleries and the Matadero Cultural Centre. We are located next to Madrid Río, a recreational and leisure area around the Manzanares River, as well as being only 20 minutes away from the city centre by public transport.
