Program Description

Arts Letters & Numbers presents Craft 101, a summer program that reimagines education through hands-on, cross-disciplinary learning. From July 1 to August 30 at our Main Campus in Averill Park, NY, nearly twenty programs will run across Visual Arts, Humanities, Performing Arts, Construction, and Mechanics. Participants select the weeks they wish to attend and are invited to join any other programs occurring that week; at no additional cost. This open format supports exploration across disciplines and encourages deep, collaborative learning. Confirmed program directors include Mitch Manning, Taofeek Abijako, Tony Drazan, Ipek and Bahar Avanoğlu, Rich Kuperberg, David Gersten, Sina Goudarzi, Steve Lawrence, Nils Anderson, Lee King, Nando Acampora, Margot Becker, Alexey Yurenev, Bill Morrison, Laurie Olinder, Will Hallett, Jacquie Loewen and many local craftspeople and practitioners. All program details are now live, and additional offerings may be added over the coming weeks.
